Bringing Classical Music to Evesham

Evesham and District Music Club, and in its 69th year,  provides again the opportunity for all in the Evesham area to enjoy Classical Chamber Music  performed live - as has been carried out since 1948. Performers include a mixture of  well known chamber groups and younger, but highly regarded musicians, most with International reputations, who play at the best London and Birmingham concert halls. Performances include a range of classical chamber music and piano recitals. The club is lucky to be able to  entice  such quality to come and perform  in Evesham.

The Programme for 2017 - 2018 includes the following.

COLIN STONE is giving  a piano recital, with music by Beethoven, Schubert and Schumann. “He possesses a musical instinct of an unusual order and a technique completely at the service of that gift, which makes his playing most compelling…. his qualities are rare and … enable him to succeed at a very high level"   Sir Charles Groves
